Yes, WME is designed for global operations. The platform will soon support multiple languages as well. We only support the euro at the moment, currently we are working hard to incorporate the USD and GBP soon. However, users must ensure they comply with local laws and regulations governing metal exchanges in their respective regions.

WME is built by scrap metal traders specifically for metal recycling businesses. Our platform caters to a range of users, including:

Our future plans are to also be able to include Foundries and Smelters as well.

WME currently offers two subscription plans tailored to meet the needs of different traders:
- Basic Trader: Access all core trading functionalities with a slight delay in LME (London Metal Exchange) price updates.
- Premium Trader: Enjoy real-time LME updates along with prioritysupport to enhance your trading experience.
How to use the platform
Our platform is not in the playstore yet, but we are working on a mobile version to provide you with greater flexibility and convenience. In the meantime the platform is optimized for a mobile browser.
Currently, direct communication between traders within the platform is not available. This means that any communication, when not using WME's transport partner, will have to be done directly between the users. However, we're actively developing this feature for future updates.

You can easily reset your password directly on the platform or from the login screen. If you encounter any issues, please contact WME support for assistance in regaining access to your account.
There is no set limit on the volume of metals that can be traded on the app. However, users should always be aware of and comply with any applicable laws or regulations regarding the purchase, sale, import, or export of metals.
Once a trade is in progress and we have all the necessary product details, we will contact you with a competitive quote for the required logistics services. You can then choose to accept or decline the offer. Keep in mind that transport costs are fully borne by the users, based on the arrangements agreed upon between the involved parties.
Yes, both our Basic and Premium trader subscriptions include logistics support through trusted partners such as EuroRijn. Please note that the cost of transport is the responsibility of the user.
In a binding listing, the process is straightforward:
- After you select the desired amount and confirm your purchase, your transaction becomes immediately valid.
- The corresponding funds are reserved to secure the transaction.
- Both the buyer and seller are bound by the Terms of Use and other applicable documents available on the website and platform for the duration of the transaction process.
A non-binding listing allows sellers to showcase their metal scrap products with flexible pricing or negotiable terms. In this model:
- Buyers can express interest and negotiate directly with sellers.
- Neither party is obligated to proceed with the transaction until the seller accepts an offer.
- Buyers may retract their bids at any time before the offer is accepted, without any repercussions.
- Once a seller accepts an offer, the transaction becomes binding, and both parties must adhere to the Terms of Service and any other applicable agreements available on our website and platform.
Once you have uploaded all the correct documents and subscribed to an appropriate plan, the verification process typically takes 1-3 business days. If there are any issues with your documentation, our team will contact you promptly to resolve them so you can start trading as soon as possible.
To ensure a smooth verification and account setup process, please have the following information and documents ready:
- Basic Information of the legal representative:
- First and last name
- Email address
- Date of birth
- Nationality
- Country of residence
- IBAN
- Company Information:
- Company tax ID
- Legal representative details
- Articles of Association (company statutes)
- Company commercial register excerpt

- UBO (Ultimate Beneficial Owner) Declarations:
- A UBO declaration is required for any shareholder (and for your holding company, if applicable) owning more than 25%.
- If your company is owned by a holding company, please also provide the holding company’s UBO declaration and commercial register excerpt.

Use the search bar and filter options on our platform. You can narrow your search by criteria such as price, location, product type, and more to quickly find the products you need.

Payments
We take security very seriously at WME:
- KYC Verification: Every trader must complete a strict KYC process before trading.
- Two-Factor Authentication (2FA): Setting up 2FA on your account is mandatory, adding an extra layer of security.
- AML Procedures: In addition to external AML checks, we perform our own internal AML monitoring, with periodic rechecks for all user.
No. Transparency is one of our core values. All fees and costs are clearly disclosed on the website and shown when applicable. Please note that logistics support costs cannot be estimated upfront due to the complexities of the industry; you will receive a tailored quote from our logistics partner based on your specific requirements.
Transaction limits vary based on the payment method:
- Depositing Funds:
- Bank Wire: No limits, though processing times depend on your bank.
- Withdrawing Funds:
- No limits, but withdrawals must be made via bank wire.
- Trading:
- There are no limits on trade volume. All trading activity is monitored for security and regulatory compliance.
During a dispute, your funds remain reserved and inaccessible to both the buyer and seller until the issue is resolved or both parties agree to cancel the transaction. At that point, the money is released according to the applicable documentation and terms on our website and platform.
If a trade becomes unsuccessful due to a dispute, both parties must mutually agree on returning the material. The return shipping costs will be borne by the users. Once the material is received back, the funds will be released to the respective platform wallets.
